The Matterhorn Terminal is designed to be step-free. Accessible parking spaces sit close to the lifts, which take you directly down to the shuttle-train platform without stairs.
Parking close to the lifts
Reserve a standard space online in the usual way; if you hold a disabled parking badge, park in a marked accessible bay near the lifts when you arrive. The barrier reads your licence plate, so there is no machine to reach from the car.
Onto the train and into Zermatt
Lifts and ramps connect the car park to the platform, and the shuttle trains take wheelchairs. In Zermatt, electric taxis can be booked to continue to your hotel. Bring what you need for a smooth transfer:
- Your parking confirmation (tied to your licence plate)
- A valid disabled parking badge for the accessible bays
